Love Life throughout Childhood

Have you ever had a crush on someone? I know I have. Every individual eventually has a crush in some point of their life. Whether they are 18 or 13, everyone, no matter what age, will have special feelings for someone they meet. It might have took years to know that you were in love with them, or it might have just been love at first sight. It doesn't matter if you have a crush, that's one of the cool parts about being a kid. You feel like it means something, when it’s really just a heavy friendship. You want to be in love when you’re a kid, you feel like being loved is the most important thing in the world. When actually it’s just a side that comes with life. You don't need love to have success in your life, you need good friends. In this fantasy, love is expressed through Tom's friends and family.
I didn't really enjoy reading this book, because of its old fashion, but the parts with Becky and Tom were fun to read. If Tom didn't have a crush or any romantic scenes in this book, I would probably fall asleep before I could even finish it. The mode of this book overall, was Romance. Their was a minor conflict with Becky and Tom but in the end there was a symbol of life. I was glad that Tom had a love life, it gave me something to look forward to. The romance of this book, kept my reading on track.
Before Tom had met Becky, he had known and been with a girl named Amy Lawrence. He loved Amy Lawrence but as soon as he met Becky, that all changed. The first time he had spotted Becky, he was passing by the house where Jeff Thatcher lived. She was standing in the garden, dressed in a small white summer frock, her long blond pig tails blowing in the wind and her little blue eyes as soft as the gentle waves of an ocean. In this chapter they described her very beautifully as if she was an angel. In Tom's perspective she was. Once he had observed Becky, Amy flew out of his head. She had no longer mattered, he now loved Becky. It seems strange to me how Tom can immediately fall in love with someone by just looking at them, shouldn't you get to know the person first? I guess he was determined that Becky and him were destined to be together forever.
In this book, Tom had many adventures with Becky, they even got engaged. It was noon recess, they had been sitting on the bench, having an interactive conversation. Then Tom accidently brought up his past love Amy. As soon as Amy leaves him mouth,  Becky gets mad that he was engaged to someone before he had met her. She thought that he still had a place in his heart for Amy. He tried to make it clear to her,  that he didn’t care for her anymore, but she didn't buy it. Tom tries to cheer her up by giving her a jewel, as a gift, but she was so upset she threw it on the ground and cried. Now, Tom was with rage because Becky threw the jewel on the ground. He probably thought that she didn’t like it, but she was just so upset that she couldn't control herself. She tried to catch up with him but Tom Sawyer was out of sight.
While everyone is at church, they are all wondering where Becky and Tom are. They both seem to be lost. A man announces that they were still in the cave. After the word cave was heard, everyone began to weep and cry, hoping that Becky and Tom were safe. Three days, and nights of toil and hunger in the cave, eventually Becky and Tom soon discovered. They were bedridden all of Wednesday and Thursday, and seemed to grow more and more tired as time passed. Becky did not leave her room until Sunday because she had been going through a wasting illness.
Everything, past that, had been going great for Becky and Tom. They remained a couple and still very close friends. Even through their ups and downs, they managed to stick together and have the best time possible. That's how friendship works. Remember, everyone has crushes, it is just a side of childhood. It wouldn't be normal if a person didn’t have strong feelings for another person, in at least one period of their lifetime. Have fun while you're a kid and wait until you’re an adult to live out an adult's life. For now, just be crazy, creative and use your imagination.  Childhood is Romance.  Romance is childhood. Love Life is both.
